Full Synthetic 5W-20 Engine Oil — Every SRT with a 6.4L or 6.2L HEMI requires full synthetic 5W-20. Pennzoil Platinum or Mobil 1 are the top choices. Change every 5,000-6,000 miles. Don’t stretch the interval on a performance engine.
Mopar Oil Filter — Use the OEM Mopar filter for best fitment and filtration on the 6.4L and 6.2L HEMI. Cheap filters are not worth the risk on a $40,000+ vehicle.
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs — Replace every 30,000 miles. NGK iridium plugs are OEM-quality for the HEMI and resist fouling better than standard plugs under hard use.
High-Performance Brake Fluid — Flush every 2 years. Motul RBF 600 has a boiling point of 312°C (594°F) — significantly higher than OEM fluid. On a car with Brembo brakes that sees hard use, this is a cheap upgrade with real results.
ZF Lifeguard 8 Transmission Fluid — The correct ATF for the ZF 8-speed transmission in all SRT vehicles. Use this and only this when doing a transmission fluid service. Wrong fluid causes the torque converter shudder issue.

Tools Every SRT Owner Should Have
OBD2 Scanner — Essential for reading and clearing check engine codes. A quality bidirectional scanner lets you read live data, check all modules, and clear codes. Saves hundreds in diagnostic fees. The Autel MX808 is the most popular choice among SRT owners.
Digital Tire Pressure Gauge — Check pressure weekly on high-performance tires. A quality digital gauge is accurate to ±0.5 PSI. Proper pressure is the cheapest handling and safety upgrade available.
Quality Torque Wrench — For lug nuts (150 ft-lbs on SRT vehicles), drain plugs, and any brake work. If you’re doing your own maintenance, a quality 1/2″ drive torque wrench is non-negotiable.
3-Ton Low-Profile Floor Jack — SRT vehicles sit low and are heavy. A quality low-profile 3-ton floor jack is essential for brake jobs, oil changes, and any suspension work. Don’t cheap out on a jack.
